Since the establishment of Taiwan Agricultural Investment and Development Corporation (TAIC), our government has actively implemented a new southward policy of opening up the international market and deepening partnerships with target countries starting with Singapore.

The “Taiwan Agricultural Products Zone” was an important achievement by TAIC, displaying our success in Taiwan’s agricultural products emerging in the international market while promoting the “Taiwan Agricultural Products Export Platform” policy. The “Taiwan Agricultural Products Section” is now distributed by HAO mart Pte Ltd, one of the largest supermarkets chains and fastest growing retail channels in Singapore, where they are responsible for the purchasing, operating, and distribution of Taiwan Certified Agricultural Standard (CAS) products. In the same time, CAS collaborates with Hao mart Pte Ltd by ushering Taiwan’s newest high-quality agricultural products and providing industry related information.

Currently, the products displayed in the selected sections at Hao mart Pte Ltd. are mainly Taiwanese fish, fish floss, tea, dried fruit preserves and confectionary goods. In the year of 2020, the “Taiwan Agricultural Products Section” plans to display and sell livestock products, fishery, fresh fruits and vegetables, and frozen products produced during Taiwan’s agriculture production period. Currently, the procurement committee for the selection of products for Taiwan Agricultural Investment platform is under preparation. Through our partnership with Singapore, we hope to continue promoting Taiwan’s high-quality agricultural products, cementing Taiwan’s high-quality Agriculture image, and expand new business opportunities in new southward country markets.
